Our Teaching & Learning Philosophy Our resident tutor, MR S. Ganesamoorthy (SG), provides a unique teaching pedagogy for students sitting the GCE ‘A’ Level General Paper and GCE ‘O’ Level English Language Examinations. SG has been tutoring these subjects for 20 years. Our lessons are designed to bring out the Fullest and Innate potential of Every Learner. Many who left our hallowed portals have reaped from its benefits and achieved significant improvements & achievements, way beyond their parents’ & teachers’ expectations. *About me:* SG has served as senior specialist with the Ministry of Education HQ, Singapore, for more than 20 years. He was the Secretary of the Curriculum Development Committee of the Ministry for 13 years, the highest policy-making body of the Ministry, Chaired by the Director-General of Education. He uses cutting-edge strategies to ensure that his students are inspired towards achieving peak performance in their examinations. He inspires the academically weaker students to enhance their performance as well.
Joined MOE teaching service since 1998. In between have tutored Primary and Secondary School students. Senior Teacher in secondary school. Been teaching Sec 1-5 all streams and have guarantee results, even for those with weak foundation. Being passionate, patient and IT savy, I am able to arouse student’s interest in learning the language.

I’m currently supporting students from a diverse backgrounds for math and physics for both the A Levels and IB Diploma Programme. Students are from various institutions including JCs such as HCI, RI, VJC and DHS, as well as private and international schools as such ACS Independent, ACS International, AIS and Hwa Chong International. Students generally improved to obtain A grades and 7 points for their final exams. I was previously from Hwa Chong and was awarded a scholarship to study Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London and graduated with a Masters of Engineering. I usually provide additional materials for students to supplement school learning and do my best to ensure that key concepts are broken down into bite sized pieces so students can follow. Towards the exams, we typically discuss some of the more challenging questions using mock papers to help consolidate our learning. Happy to help with scholarship matters as well. The likely reason is that your criteria is too restrictive. Most tutors do not teach more than 3 subjects at any level. Another factor might be your subject/s of interest has a tutor group predominantly of a particular gender. Insisting on another gender would restrict your available choices.

Yes; this is the main pitfall of choice, you have to make one. If you find you have 3 or more tutors that fit all your criteria, it is not done yet. These tutors still need to have the availability to take the student at some prescribed schedule.

Online Tuition is only recommended for students in Primary 4 and above. Home Tuition caters to students of any age.
We would recommended Home Tuition for weaker students who need the benefits of face to face instruction. Online Tuition works best for independent students who exhibit fair to good subject proficiency.

However, before we proceed, we need to firm up the following details.

You can start as early as the next day or maybe even sooner. This all depends on tutor availability.
It is best to know your student’s learning profile & make arrangements early. One does not wake up one moring & decide their child is weak in Math. The signs will be evident months before tuition is even considered.
We urge all parents to be aware of their child’s difficulties & take action promptly.
Short answer, NO! Good results are an indication of subject proficiency. All students do not start from the same level so it might take longer for some rather than others.
We would insist on at least 3 months of tuition to see any improvement for an average student. Weaker student will most probably take longer.
Please do not wait till 1 month before major exams to book a tutor. It will help clear some concepts & doubts. There is definitely no time to lay foundation.
Tutors with higher qualification & more years of experience will normally cost more. This is just the market force of demand & supply. It is best to decide on your budget & we can help you get the best tutor for that budget.
