I graduated with merit from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Information Technology with 3.9+ GPA. I was top in level for databases and web applications, and was on the Dean’s list. Later in 2024, I will be enrolling in NUS Computer Science.
I have 1 year of working experience as a software engineer.

On personal strength, I have learned to handle various responsibilities competently, adaptable to change, tactful and work independently during the course of my education, CCA, National Service and several working experiences. I always show determination and perseverance in the face of challenges. I am accustomed to a fast-paced environment where deadlines are priority and handling multiple projects to attain my goals. For my CCA in NTU, I was a Vice President of LEAPS, Facilitator of National Cash Flow Competition, lead in welfare community as well as Chess Club Captain.

I have worked as part-time tutor for almost 3 years, teaching a group of students in City Harvest Church and to many students individually in Maths subjects. These have helped me to enhance my teaching, presentation and communication skills. The hands-on experience that I gained can be beneficial in various professional contexts, showcasing my commitment to helping others to succeed. I am glad to receive positive feedback and praise from the students and parents.

I am currently teaching a P6 male student English and Chinese for a year. Revising school materials weekly(including class tests and spelling) and doing extra assessment books to enhance the students learning. I also work closely with their parents to go through what we have done in the lesson. I am currently in Polytechnic (np- early childhood & development) and hope to have more students to help with my portfolio. In addition, i have played volleyball competitively for 6 years and go to the gym regularly.

I like reading and jogging. I am passionate about teaching Maths. I have about 22 years of tutoring experience in E Maths and A Maths at Secondary Level. I help the Primary students to prepare for their PSLE Examination in Maths. I also help the Secondary students to prepare for their N and O Level Examinations in E Maths and A Maths.
I also have experience tutoring IB Maths and International School Maths.
As different student has different learning curve, I will guide them accordingly. But finally they must learn what they suppose to know. So I think tuition is to help them to understand the subject better and also to clear their doubt. This will help them perform better in their studies.

I have a Masters in Science (Chemistry) from NUS. And distinctions in the triple Sciences in RJC and RGS. Science is my forte.

Currently I am teaching 1 to 1 and holding classes for Lower Secondary Science and ‘O Level’ Chemistry.

I have a good grasp of scientific concepts and the science syllabus.

I have been using my expertise to help students improve in grades and confidence.
