Currently – Studying at Nanyang Technological University – Renaissance Engineering Programme, for a Master of Science in Technology Management and Bachelor of Engineering Science (Computer Science)
I have been teaching part-time tuition since I was 18. I graduated from Victoria Junior College in 2019 with As in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, and Chemistry, as well as a Merit in H3 Mathematics.
Over the years, I have taught a large variety of students, from O-level to A-level students, as well as private candidates. All of my students have gone on to perform much better in their exams and improve their understanding of the subjects.
Teaching Style:
Depth of Understanding: I focus on helping students achieve a deeper understanding and knowledge of the content and subject matter, answering the ‘why’ behind the concepts.
Exam Skills and Techniques: The objective is to perform well in exams, so I prioritise teaching answering techniques, time management skills, and other essential exam strategies.
Experience:
A lot of experience, but to highlight one – within half a year, one of my JC H2 Mathematics tutees improved from an S in his mid-year school exams to a B in his A-levels in 2022.
Timings and payment: Can always discuss further, I am flexible!

I have 4 years of experience in teaching and have taught a total of 10 students. I create personalised curriculum to accommodate to my students’ learning needs and impart techniques that will help them grasp concepts better. I aim to develop my students’ aptitude and passion for the subject and am confident that this would enable them to attain their academic goals. I was previously a teaching assistant at Pathlight School in 2021 and have 2 years experience tutoring students with mild Autism. I was also a volunteer tutor at Pasir Ris FSC in 2022.

I have been tutoring for about a year now. I enjoy teaching and ensuring my students are confident in understanding and applying of concepts. I try to create an easygoing environment so that students aren’t afraid to ask questions. I also give plenty of homework and practice papers to boost their confidence.

More than 20 years of teaching experience

I was moe-trained. Teached secondary E and A-math for 13 years and primary school math and science for 4 years. Enjoy travelling and learning new things.

I was a full-time MOE teacher from 2008 to 2021. While I was in service, I used to teach students from all streams and I was well known for being able to communicate effectively with different profile of students. I taught students from all streams and hence I am able to be versatile in my teaching pedagogies. I was also in the discipline committee and served as a discipline master once. Before I joined MOE, I already had about 5 years of tutoring experience while I was in the university. After joining MOE, I continued to teach tuition and I had on average about 5 students every year. I also have experience teaching in Sinda and Mendaki for about 7 years in my earlier days. I also have experience teaching IP students as well as students from International schools. I left MOE in 2021 but I am still teaching in a school as a Flexi-adjunct teacher currently. I am also a real estate agent. Currently I still do have tutees.
I never received any negative feedback from parents or students. In fact, all my students stay with me till they graduate. Majority of them attained their target grades. I have taught students from top schools like Singapore Chinese Girls’ School, Victoria School, Raffles Institution, Temasek JC and others. However I am also very experienced with students from neighbourhood schools as the school currently I teach in is also a neighbourhood school as well.
My primary focus is to explain clearly so that the students understand and to motivate them in the subject. I also emphasise alot on studying strategies and exam strategies. Sometimes I do help them holistically as well because I am not just a tutor but an educator.

As a seasoned graduate tutor with 4 years of dedicated teaching experience in both pure and combined chemistry and biology at the secondary school level, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for science education to my students. With a strong background in both subjects, I strive to create engaging and interactive learning experiences tailored to meet the diverse needs of my students.

I have been an MOE teacher for more than 10 years. I love teaching. I like to find new ways to help make things easier to understand. I always enjoy learning new things. I majored in EE for university degree, obtained my PGDE in teaching Chinese language and completed my master degree in developmental psychology.

Have been teaching tuition for past 15 years. More experienced and confident in secondary school maths though I also can teach lower primary maths. Strongly believe practice makes perfect. I’m very passionate about teaching and I believe in being patient and understanding with my students.

Currently an 3rd year undergraduate at NUS. Experienced in teaching Secondary School Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics for 2 Years. Taught Secondary 2 Mathematics weekly at Clementi Town Secondary School for 1 Year as well through a programme known as TeachSG in 2023.

Current school teacher with more than 22 years teaching experience

I’m a passionate individual with a deep love for exploring both the inner workings of the human mind, as I pursue an Honours in Psychology, and the great outdoors through hiking. Reading is my sanctuary, where I find solace and inspiration. As a dedicated student, I thrive in academic environments, always eager to learn and grow. Animals hold a special place in my heart, and my enthusiasm towards them knows no bounds.
FAQ
Hmm……
The likely reason is that your criteria is too restrictive. Most tutors do not teach more than 3 subjects at any level. Another factor might be your subject/s of interest has a tutor group predominantly of a particular gender. Insisting on another gender would restrict your available choices.

Online Tuition is only recommended for students in Primary 4 and above. Home Tuition caters to students of any age.
We would recommended Home Tuition for weaker students who need the benefits of face to face instruction. Online Tuition works best for independent students who exhibit fair to good subject proficiency.
You can talk to us & we can decide the best course of action according to your student’s learning profile.
Uploading a Profile Image is at the sole discretion of the tutor. Some may rather not show the personal image for public viewing.
In any case, the tutors’ appearance has no bearing on their ability to teach.
This is THE magical question. So whats the answer?
Yes you can. We will connect the selected tutor via Zoom or Google Meet
However, before we proceed, we need to firm up the following details.
- Fee
- Tuition Schedule
You can start as early as the next day or maybe even sooner. This all depends on tutor availability.
It is best to know your student’s learning profile & make arrangements early. One does not wake up one moring & decide their child is weak in Math. The signs will be evident months before tuition is even considered.
We urge all parents to be aware of their child’s difficulties & take action promptly.
Short answer, NO! Good results are an indication of subject proficiency. All students do not start from the same level so it might take longer for some rather than others.
We would insist on at least 3 months of tuition to see any improvement for an average student. Weaker student will most probably take longer.
Please do not wait till 1 month before major exams to book a tutor. It will help clear some concepts & doubts. There is definitely no time to lay foundation.
Tutors with higher qualification & more years of experience will normally cost more. This is just the market force of demand & supply. It is best to decide on your budget & we can help you get the best tutor for that budget.
Send us your tuition requirements & we can start to work something out as soon as possible
